The Basics

When: April 23rd – June 4th 2022 (Hopefully. I’ve learned not to take things for granted. Things are booked. Hoping the world is in a place where this can actually happen.)

Where: Starting in St. Jean Pied de Port, France. Finishing in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. (Camino Frances/The French Way)

Who: Me! Probably just me. May have company for some parts. May not. Few people can take 6 weeks off to hike through Spain. (And yes, I fully understand how blessed and lucky I am.)

How: I’m getting a 4-week sabbatical for my 25th anniversary with my company, to which I’m adding 2 weeks of vacation with the approval of my amazing boss! (See previous statement re: blessed/lucky.)

Why: Because…..I really want to! Because I can! Because it’s been on my bucket list! (I’m not sure I have a “good enough” reason for this. More on that later.)
