The Maseta is the first place I’ve encountered bugs on the Camino. These tiny little gnats/flies seem to want to get into your face all the time. I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten at least two of them.

May 10 – Hornillos del Camino to Castrojeriz (19.6 km)

These shorter walk days are feeling luxurious! Still hoping to get going early because it’s going to get hot today.
